Hi Mark thank you so much for your hug. I am totally new to this and from the other messages you are too. I have had a major gambling problem for about 4 years now. In fact I went as recently as Saturday night not long after searching the web for help. I was hoping to find a chatroom or imediate help but was a little lost on here, I am hoping to make friends with people with the same problem, you know people who will really understand what we are going thru. Mark please feel free to contact me anytime if you would like my email address just let me know. I honestly don't know how much help I can be for you at this time because to be honest I feel pretty weak right now. But one thing I do know is that I want to change. I have to because if not I feel like this problem will destroy me. It sounds funny but just this weekend I REALLY realized just how bad of problem I do have and it wasn't due to the fact that I had won or lost money it was just that terrible drive to gamble. take one day at a time and do whatever it takes to quit. if your problem is online gaming (like me) install the program gamblock. once you install you cant uninstall and it blocks all gaming sites. it has worked wonders for me. wish i found it 2 years and thousands of $$ ago.

Hi, Been gambling some six years with a 3 year gap. My marriage of 18 years dissolved some 3 months ago although to my wifes credit she found somebody with similar interest. Have 1 child who is approaching 17 and hopefully has come through without to much scarring.Looking forward to starting again in life, all the best.

- Gamblers Anonymous Somewhat Helpful
- Found it rather repetitious. Also a little cultist with the only way mentality of some members. However some sweet genuine people their looking to help others.
