Birth of Landin Cash Mood
Monday, October 26, 2009 | A General Update story
Wow,, It has been so long sense I have wrote. Well our son Landin is almost 7 week's now and doing good. But let me start at the beginning. I had to do IVF to get pregnant and it was a success,, we got pregnant. The effect's from all the month's of shot's swelled me up to 168 pound's. I weighed  110 when I started this journey. The pregnancy was really rough and hard. I had sickness morning, noon and night,, and the shower became my worst enemy,, every time I took a shower I would puke. I wonder if all IVF women felt this bad. As the pregnancy went on we had ultra sounds done all the time which was nice because than we could see our little man :) My due date was Sept. 6th and Aug. 31st I lost my plug. Well all night I kept bleeding ( I could feel the baby moving so I felt nervous but not alarmed ) and I called my Doc. in the morning and she told me to come in at 3pm.. so we do and she check's me and I am at a 4,, YEAH,, she said go to the hospital now ( we were going to induce at midnight anyway,,,LOL ) so around 7 I start feeling the labor in my back and pelvic and it uncomfortable.  Around 7:30 I get to my hand's and knee's on the bed,, I dont know why,, my body wanted me too. And when the next contraction hit's my water break's and Landin is comming.. I yell to Joseph to get someone so off he goes,, The nurse runs in and checks me and I am at 9 1/2 and she yell's DONT PUSH,DONT PUSH and tries to hold my legs together,, OMG,,, are you fricking kidding me? I am screaming to go get my doc!!!!  I have no pain med's and the nurse's are telling me no screaming,,, I was so happy to hear my Doc's voice when she walked in :)!!!. I am still screaming because of the pain ,,,I finally stop screaming after listening to my Doc and i DO push a few times and out comes Landin...43 minutes of labor,,weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long,,, YEAH.. But come to find out Landin came out sunny side up with a hand next to his face,, and ripped me from the top to the bottom and ripped off half of my clit and tore my right labia in half.... That is why I was in so much pain... There was an emergency delivery down the hall so my Doc had to go and I was left with my nurse...oh goody.. Well 3 hour's later I am upset because I am still sitting in my birth and everything that goes with it.. WHAT THE HELL is wrong with this nurse? She finally changes mt bedding and I tell her I have to go pee so off to the r.r. we go and I go to pee and than scream because she didnt tell me I had open wound's and I just peed on them,, good grief!!!  Why didnt she give me some Derma spray and a water bottle??? Well sitting in the junk didnt do my stitches any good because none of them held so now I will be seeing a plastic surgeon to see if this mangled vagina can be fixed. UGH... I breastfeed for 32 day's and just couldnt take it anymore. Landin would scream after nursing so he is now on soy formula and adjusting well. Turn's out he is Lactose intolerant. After all the woo's this pregnancy had for me ,,, We are going to do a FET next year with our frozen babies and see what happen's. Landin is my pride and joy and Joseph is so good as a Poppa. We were blessed and even though being a new momma is overwhelming at times I wouldnt change it for nothing. I pray for my fellow sisters to one day hold the babies in their arm's. I think of you all daily and I know with out the help of my DS Sister's this pregnancy would have been alot harder. Thank you all so much. I have loaded pictures of Landin. xoxoxoxo Love Nicole

congrats nicole! i'm sorry your birth was rough at the end.... mine too. recovering from the episiotomy (which i wasn't planning on getting, but he wasn't coming out on his own) has been a whole new adventure--crazy. anyway, i'm glad landin is doing well and good luck with your FET next year, that's awesome!
