I have been an educator for 30 years. My 15 year old son was diagnosed with CD about two years ago. My daughter is 22 and just become engaged two weeks ago. I adore her fiance and am very happy for them. I am in the process of a divorce after 24 years of marriage. I feel more alive than I have felt in years. Life is good!

Thank-you!! 24 yrs. is SO LONG. It's been four yrs. for me. I guess the difference is I have no kids. A co-worker of his took him to an AA mtg., and in fairness I'm gonna see if he's sincere...I don't think it will take too long for me to find out if he's not. Right now, I'd also never be able to afford the bills alone. I work 20 hrs. a week, but today I filled out the paper work and start another p/t job on Friday. With the 2, hopefully I'll get up to 40hrs., or more soon. Then it will be a lot easier to say goodbye if that's what needs to be done. Thanks again!! Donna

Close Celiac Disease
My son has recently been diagnosed with Celiac disease. He was diagnosed in June and I spent my entire summer with my nose in any information I could find about Celiac. It has changed our lives. I live in Nebraska and people/restraurants are not quite aware of food allergies as they are in other areas of the country.
Treatments
- Gluten Free Diet Working / Worked
- My son is very small. Since we started the diet in June 06, he has gained 6 pounds and has grown an inch.
Close Breakups & Divorce
I am 5 mos. into the divorce process. Hopefully it will be done at the end of this month. I lived with an alcoholic for 24 years and I said, "No More". I'm feeling alive for the first time in years. Once I was able to step out of the situation, I realized how bad it was.
