I am 49yrs old, married 26 yrs to my best friend and loving care giver.We have 4, beautiful children Molly 25, Seth24, Wyatt, 14 and Anna13.Ihave had RA for 22yrs. I worked as a ob nurse and a geriatric nurse, until my condition kept me from being the nurse that i wanted to be. I miss working very much, but I try to make my self availible to volunteer at the retirement facility in our town when ever I can. In the spring I plan to head up a support group in our county.

Interests
Like many of you the main interest that i have is anything that my children are involved in and believe me that is alot. I probaly hold some type of record for hrs spent in a gym and the most popcorn eaten. Ilove antiques, reading, my church, and i am taking a course in writing.

Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
I have had RA 22yrs. I have been on most everythig out there that was available. I have 1 hip,both knees replaced and an ankle rebilt with screws and pins. The treatment that i am on currently has helped my condition greatlyThis time 18mo.ago i was in my wheelchair when out of my house and i used a walker inside.Now i am walking unassisted!!
