I have known this guy since I was about 15 and I liked him since then.Way back when we used to mess around a bit but never got too serious because he moved away to Maryland..He used to be the sweetest guy, and we had so much in common. He just came back into my life about a month ago and as soon as I heard his voice on the phone I fell for him all over again.He came to visit and we were cool as friends and all but then he kissed me..We fooled around while he was here and he went home yesterday(isnt moving here until like september) and when we were on the phone today he asked me out officially..He is really awesome and sweet and his kisses make my heart melt..when he lays next to me and just holds me it makes life feel perfect...There are just a couple of things that scare the hell out of me. First off he is in a gang..not a small, unorganized ooh teenagers playing around, like a real life..will kick someones ass gang..and when he is around them he acts different, like we were on the phone his "friends" were around and he was like bragging about the shit that we had done and like sayin he was gonna do this and do that to me and it made me upset..and like I asked him something about his role in the gang and he yelled at me..He never has yelled at me before but he yelled at me and told me that he wasnt gonna answer it and not to worry about it..and like when he asked me out he told me to make sure i keep my mouth shut to his brother n shit bcuz he knows i "gotta big mouth and i dont know how to keep it shut"..but like, idk I love him so much..I always have, from the first time he hugged me goodbye when he was leaving my house..and I love everything about him, everything except the gang shit..it's changing him..making him less cute and loving and more into almost an asshole..idk how to tell him this..bcuz i know i cant break up with him...well he just called me..love ya DS..ttyl...

I dunno. I think you should still go out with him and everything (hey, it's a guy who likes you enough, and you like him!), but watch out for his gang and inappropriate behavior. If he does something you don't like, break up with him, or threaten him to change. After all, you don't have to put up with bullshit just because you call him your boyfriend. And hey, if it doesn't work out, come talk to me! There you go. At least you know you got friends =)
