I was diagnosed 10 years ago with chronic fatigue after millions of medical tests failed to produce a reason for my extreme fatigue. What started as a primary complaint of fatigue morphed over the years to disabling bouts of pain. The pain became the primary focus and so my diagnosis was changed to FMS.
Treatments
- 5-HTP Somewhat Helpful
- Helps me to relax on my 'better nights' and sleep through to morning.
- Acupuncture Somewhat Helpful
- For 24 hours after treatments I obtained significant relief from pain and the ability to sleep better. However, it was short lived.
- Arthrotec Working / Worked
- Brilliant!
- Effexor Not Working
- completely useless for me
- Pamelor Not Working
- I am on full dose now and still can't sleep. Another one bites the dust!
