Whoops. Mood
Tuesday, July 22, 2008 | A Positive story
I just got back from the DBS programmer and found out that my right side controller was off.   No wonder I couldn't walk after the meds wore off the meds only lasted 2-1/2 hours.   It was impossible to detect the controller state until I finally just received the Medtronics-Activa therapy review-controller from the doctor today.   I am turned on again and feeling so much better.   My dyskinesia and shaking have subsided.  I don't require so many doses of meds and can somewhat function without being completely on.   I have a scar at my hairline and two chest transmitters with wires that show, but I don't care.  It's all good.

That must have been scary. I'm glad you're feeling much better now.

Thanks for your support. I really had no clue partly because we were so busy the last 2 weeks and on vacation. YES. I feel great!
