Finally, I am no longer a shut-in and a risk to myself.  The transmitters are set correctly and the incision is healed.    My not-so-sterile neuro-doc checked my stitches and wanted to take them out.   We will do that ourselves next Monday as he suggested.   Antibiotics for 10 more days and no infection at all.
