Damn dr's don't know what the heck they are doing anymore! Scary! Still having problems with my throat being red and the glands swollen, all they say is you have to wait till the ribavirin get's out of your system, but how long do you wait? I don't know the answer, but I do know I feel very bad and I should be getting better by now. The treatment screwed up my health, my glands are swollen, have fatigue and pain all over. I am so sick of dr's and there "BULL". I guess all I can do is pray about it and hope for the best! If you are thinking about pegasys, take it seriously and just don't walk blindly into it like I did. The treatment is very bad for some people, and shouldn't be taken lightly!

I am waiting for some class action lawsuit from the treatment I took which I think will happen sometime in the future, it's putting many people on disability. Some of the side effects don't go away, they still linger in me some 5 months after treatment, something tells me that the treatment probably shortened my life span also. It is a dangerous treament for some of us and shouldn't just be given to anybody. Kaiser won't even treat you after the treatment is done, they just say wait. I don't know what I am waiting for, so far I am still in pain and weakness and probably have rhumatoid arthritis now from it agmonst other things. I pray for better treatment for those of us who suffered through treatment and didn't help much. I wish to god I never done the treatment, it wasn't worth it, I felt way better before treatment. I should have waited for newer treatments to come out. ESPECIALLY CAUSE PEGASYS IS BEING VERY MISLEADING WITH THE PAMPHLETS THAT CAME OUT ON PEGASYS TREATMENT, Dr.'s and everyone just think it's all part of treatment, I believe they will find out some bad news on the treatment and may have shortened some people lives instead of lengthen it.

We took what was offered to us with strong belief that we will get well. We need more money ear-marked for improved treatment and research.
I don't know why everyone was worried so much about this vaccine but it was easier then the regular flu shot. Now I am protected from the swine flu, so I feel pretty good about it. I feel bad for those that are afraid of the shot and get the swine flu, I hear it is rough even on really healthy people. So if you have any type of diseases or weakened immune systems please get the shot you will be glad you did. At least for me it is one thing I don't have to stress out about. So come on and get me SWINE, lmao! Take care everyone and hope you all have a safe and healthy holiday this season, can't wait till Christmas, I love the christmas vibe with all the lights and presents and people are usually at there best around that time.

Hey Mike you sound so much better now. That's awesome. I got the regular flu vaccine as I do every year but the the swine shot is not available here or let me rephrase that, there is none left right now and I live in Houston but when I can get it I will. Thanks for the imput. Cydne

Yes Mike you do sound so much better, I am glad.
I had regular flu shot, asked doc about H1N1, he said I did not need it, but those who do have cirrhosis should.

Mike I am sorry to hear this is continuing. I found that Vicks 44 lozenges help a lot with the sore throat and tickle cough. It has benzocaine in it, so is numbing.
