I am married with 1 8yr old, step-son, and a 4yr old son. I am a Home/Live-in Manager a group home. We are all like one big family. I have 1 dog, 3 cats, and my 1 cat just had kittens. I love to cook, read, write, and spend quality time with my family. We am now in the process of becoming members of our local church.

Close Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
In Dec of 2006 we closed on a really pretty 4 bedroom home 3 miles from my parents. I loved it because it was close to my family, but it was out in the country too. Well our family of 4, along with my animals; Rascal, Nilla, Odie, Garfield, and Buddy all moved into our very own house! One night changed my life forever, On March 31st in the early hours I woke to what I thought was my alarm, but soon realized it was my smoke detector! My husband along with my son, and me got out and called 911.
