It starts as a small seed
A conflict unspoken
A dilemma unresolved
It grows into a sapling
Small yet clearly visible
Holding secrets left untold
It is larger now
A fully mature consequence
Of feelings left to grow and multiply
It keeps growing and growing
Faster and faster
Tearing up the solid ground around it
Going deeper and deeper
Sucking out anything in its path
Until that is all that is there
Alone on what was once an even path
Now it is forever changed
And all because of a little seed
That no one could destroy
