Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
I was diagnosed with IC 2 years ago. went through instillations which did nothing except keep the medical bills coming. im in love with pyridium!! lol. ive found that when i am in pain if i just sit on the toilet and relax, my pain goes away within 45 minutes, and thats without taking any meds. i even do this at work. if anyone has any treatments they have found to work please let me know.
Treatments
- Macrobid Not Working
- I dont think this drug is strong enough when i have a bladder infection.
- Pyridium Working / Worked
- feels like my body is stating to get used to it, but still helps.
- Elavil Too Soon to Tell
- I am starting Elavil tonight(aug 9th). I have a strong belief and faith that it will work.
- Bladder Instillation Not Working
- these did not work. i went through about 7 or 8 months of them and saw no change. but i guess they do work for some.
Open Chronic Pain
i have chronic pain because of IC.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Not Working
- didnt work for pain, did work for anxiety.
Open Painful Intercourse
painful sex because of my IC
Open Trichotillomania (Hair Pulling)
Type: Trichotillomaniai have been pullinjg my hair and eyebrows for about 4 years now. I don't think it's a bad thign to do, it sooths me.
