Time is always on my mind, and it scares me i won't have enough, i feel there is so much more out there for me to see and do, i just hope i have lefted my mark on this world and can be remember for something besides just being a soldier.

You are... a friend, father, and husband. You have contributed so much to those close to you. You are not just your job, honey, and you can achieve much, as I am sure you are aware. I think of you often and know what cancer can do. 100% of the female side of my family gets it. My older sister died at 36 from it when I was 17. Two weeks before, one of my uncles died of Lupus, a form of cancer. My grandmother had cancer when she died and my mother has been treated for breast cancer.... the last time I knew, she was still alive but we have not communicated in over 7 years.
I know you have/had many dreams you feel you have to rush to complete but remember, you don't have to make a big mark on the world.. just on those that will carry your memory with them through their lives. Knowing that may give you the peace you need so you can focus on what is most important right now- taking care of yourself and those around you. You're in my thoughts always. RT

I think you've left an indelible mark on your family, friends and those you've connected with here on DS. I know that I have gained inspiration from your courage and strength and the willingness to fight this cancer. As Nytwolf said, you are so much more than just a soldier who dons a uniform daily and protects his country so that we may remain free. Again, you are an inspiration and a hero to me. Keep up the fight my friend and I will continue to keep you in my prayers. *hugs*

Don't you dare doubt for even a split second you have not left a mark on this world. You have left a huge painting, not just a mark! You have done so much for so many. I am so proud to know you and call you a friend. You are an amazing wonderful man Kevin! Love ya doll!

I think we all do at times. Like, how much can one person leave behind? But trust me Kevin. You have touched SO many. I've seen numerous people on here really be amazingly inspired by what you do and who you are. All, just by being you. If you were to leave us tomorrow, this whole site would be grieving, not to mention those who know you in person. You touch so many, you really do. If you dont' believe it, listen to me. Believe in what I and these other ladies have said. We will be strong for you. I believe.

Kevin, we just met and I think you are a wonderful man, husband, father and friend. I agree with flutterbyfly. Please don't ever doubt yourself. I have to Thank You for serving our Country for our freedom. I have to add to that you have a wicked sence of humor. Keep on fighting. You will always be in my thoughts and prayer.
