Well on the 19th of April i will be 5 years with Timmy. I so hope the Docs are wrong. If they are not i have 5 years left.
It is just so scarey. so i have 31 days until then not that i am counting.

I'm not trying to give false hope, but all I can say is they told my father he wouldn't live 5 years when they found his rare form of cancer. It's been 11... don't give up on yourself and the amazing life you have.

You know - there are new treatments discovered all of the time - maybe they haven't found a treatment that will cure Timmy yet.

Hey, DAREDUDE: My husband just died of Glioblastoma Multiforme (brain cancer iV). He was active duty FA in Kitzengen, Germany, then later transitioned to the Reserves -- Civil Affairs. He was a PRT Commander in Afghanistan in '02 - 03, but no symptoms until May '08. He suffered a stroke during weekend training. All that led to discovery of brain cancer. His particular GBM was so aggressive and unresponsive to treatment, his oncologist believes his stint as a nuclear weapons officer in Germany (20 years ago), and subsequent exposure to plutonium, could be responsible for his cancer. Hope this is not an inappropriate area to write this and ask for a response (still learning to negotiate the site). I am wondering if you were exposed to nuclear weapons or plutonium while you were stationed in Germany or at any point in your career. Thanks. -- Carol

I'm sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I wish you well on your journey with it. The docs may have given you an expiration date but that's not always acurrate..Keep faith, Your a strong guy! Your in my thoughts and prayers! (((((((hugs)))))))))
