WHY
Well i found out this weekend that my Dad was just informed that his has 6 to 12 months to live thanks to stage four lung cancer. I am at a loss …
i am from Kansas City, Ks but stationed in Germany. I joined the army when i was 19 and have been doing it ever since. I am 36 now and i have a wife and 2 great kids. I started to have headaches when i went to Afghanistan when the war first started in 2002 and did 8 monthes then came back and went to iraq when the war first started. i did a year there and went back to Ft Drum, NY and went to the Doc's office. he sent me for a MRI in April 04 and that is when i found out i have a brain tumor and it is in a spot that they can't go in and get it. I did a year's worth of chemo and it shrunk it in half. but i am still told maybe 10 years plus if i am lucky. It just scares the Heck out of me. Some days i just feel so alone.

Coping with a severe illness
On the 18th June 2008, the awesome dog i had for almost 11 years fell into a pit that was 6 foot deep and landed on her head, she fought for 4 days before she lost the good fight.
fell down a flight of steps in the mid 90s, ran over by a Iraqi taxi 2003, hit by a soft ball size rock in leg/knee in riot when they caught Saddam, year worth of chemo 2004-2005
