      HI baby girl!

      Im doing alright

      Its the anniversy of my episode two years ago. hanging out with a old roomate from there. shes my support atm. my bestest friend in the entire world has earned her doctrate in psych and in minneapolis as we speak!!! shes in cali though and moving back to phoenix her home. and i cant wait she will live just a few miles from me. got my bs in soc and have a brand new job taking care of infants in a homeless shelter.

      In bad news my step mom has terminal cancer. Ironically my real mom died of cancer too? crazy huh?

      each day i have to remind my self that im not...

      Hi BPer's...I'm from AUSTRALIA -Diag nearly 3 years ago after attempted overdose and hospitalisation. Family hx- father has it. Relief to be diagnosed. Lifes still challenge but not as extreme. Still miss the Mania at times though!!

      Keeping fit a must in my daily wellness plan.Monitor yr nutrition.Talk 2as many other ppl with BP 2get a grasp & understandg about what yr feeling.Read &educate yourself!

      Never take things 2 serious. BPer's I've met R gen. fantastic FUN LOUD &very EMPATHETIC ppl.Have a laugh&try 2c the lighter side of our experiences as bad as they can b!
      Lithium Working / Worked
      Bn on it ever since released frm hospital &although it still gives that horrible nausia feelin ater taking it i've found takin it bf I go2bed so I don't feel its effects!
      Music Working / Worked
      I love MUSIC! When I'm manic I can b Robbie Williams LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU! You'll all know what I mean.But seriously...bf bed I play relaxation music. Theraputic/calming
      Lexapro Working / Worked
      The best anti depressant I've found that works with Lithium.I find I need the anti depressant 2lift the down mood that still haunts me in ebbs & bounds.Winter time bad!
      Support Groups Working / Worked
      I joined Melb BP support Group & this was the BEST medicine I could recommend.Like Minded people who won't judge u but understand what flyin high & suicide r really like!
      Psychotherapy Working / Worked
      Really helps! Even now still have monthly therapy.Better than Psychiatrists. Talk things through & offer strategys not just pills 2try! My psychologist is my life line!
