I just had a baby in Feb 08, I was in remission from hyperthyroidism during my pregnancy and now it is back. I'll dealing with it all over again and this time it is hard with a baby to care for.

Baby is great. Not sleeping through the night yet. Is your baby sleeping through the night. I dont think my baby will ever sleep through the night.

HI! My due date was Aug. 20th, but Lucas arrived last Sunday, August 3rd. He is adorable! Now is the reality of figuring everything out. Being our first it is kinda scary, but also amazing!

Close Graves' Disease
I was in remission during my pregnancy. My baby is perfect and her thyroid levels were normal. It is such a miracle and I'm greatful that she is healthy. She is 5 months now and I am hyper again.
Treatments
- PTU Working / Worked
- responded well and now on smallest dose possible to keep my thyriod levels in the normal range. I've been on 1/2 a pill or 25mg for half a year now and even before I got pregnant. My endo says at this dose it is too little to effect the baby. I saw my endo today 09/11/07 and she took me off PTU completely. Yeah!!! No more meds!!!
