I've had Lupus get the most out of me for the past 10 years. The only way I've been able to control it is to have good doctors and force myself to eat healthy things I would otherwise not eat! I went on nutritional theraphy after chemo and now I am in remission. Everyday is a battle and we have a choice to be well.

I’m With You
Thank you for reading my journal and for your comment. I take B-12, But I'v never tried Cog10. I will look into it , do the research and see about taking it. Yes, I did a 'No- NO', I ate a ton of mashed potatoes, for two days, Potatoes make my pain more intense. I'm finding it really difficult to give them up complently..I was a meat & potatoe's girl, LOL..where do you order your goji juice from? I 'v been very lucky, to find it at my vitamin store, but I still wonder if it is processed the right way. Hugs and prayers and I hope you feel better too, stay out of the sun !!! take care. imso

it is cruel!!! for a dr not to give you pain meds for this. i wound up on morphine for a few days the first week. also steroids, besides the valtrex. i would get another dr.

Thank you. I've had this appt. for a couple of months now and the closer it gets, the more nervous I get and it's not until the 22nd of September. I may be in a straight jacket by then. lol

Thanks for being on the right side of this battle and for caring. So many people just don't even care, even when it's their own health on the line. In this strange world of deception and self-denial it's nice to know that there are people like you who take the biological reality seriously. I hardly know anything about you and I'm already inspired by you.

I was diagnosed with Lupus SLE in 1999. From then it has been a roller coaster ride of health problems after another.I was in the hospital JUly 2006, had a kidney biopsy, lost my vision, and had PCP during my chemo. This year though I have finally find a better understanding of my disease through personal experience, good doctors and most impt. reading and research. I can't believe after a year, God has given me a second chance at life. My kidneys have healed, I have my vision restored 90%

- i drink it everyday. only the organic kind from Free Life
- Green Tea Working / Worked
- For Energy and increasing metabolism . since I was off Presnisone, I needed something to help me lose all this added weight and give me more energy.
- Plaquenil Somewhat Helpful
- stomach irritation. Stopped taking it.
