I now find out my son has huge tatoo across his chest!!!!it says live before you die!!!he thinks he is some street thug now ,i cant take it anymore!How the hell did some adult do this without my consent!He has hid it from me us for 2 months now!one of my friends saw it on myspace thats how i found out!im gonna have to put him in boot camp or something any recomendations?????he doesnt even have med insurance until dec!i want to die.i feel like such a failure as a parent and with no life,no job,not even in love,we are like roommates!this is all too much..gotta go before i get worse..im fed up!

I am so sorry to hear of your problems with your son.
Since I am a realistic person, my advice to you would be to talk with the school counselors and see whats been happening in school for starters, definitely find out where he got the tatoo since you may have a case against the place unless someone gave him the tatoo privately which could be the case, make sure he is not a new recruit into any gangs since I hear that most gangs require some type of initiation and if you can afford it counseling for him. You should consider monitoring his computer use since so much can happen on line these days. Having a parent son talk into whats happening with him that makes him want to do these things can't hurt. Professional counseling should help or even writing to the Dr. Phil Show if you respect his advice.
