So it seems when u are doing ur best to be positive u get hit hard with something else!My son who is only 15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!decided to tell me the other day his girlfriend is 7 months pregnant and keeping it!Any one who can find anything positive out of this please let me know!!!!!Everyone has had the safe sex talk with him and we have even given him condoms!Why ?I was 19 when I got pregnant and had to work myself so hard as a single parent! To the point of overdoing it and getting this fibro!
The main reason is when I heard they were having sex 9 to 11 months ago.I went to her parents house and was told shes a virgin and they always know were she is at!They never put on bcontrol!What the heck?I even told them my son is bad for her!He has been doing poor in school and smoking pot!I reminded them about a month ago again about the sex.Mom says no she always knows were shes at again.This is like her mantra or something.Well she had a uti lastweek and they took her to er and found out she is seven months pregnant.Im so mad at my son,but they have not even called me yet!My son told me about it and said hes 90 % sure its his but she just told him last week after hospital visit as well. she told him she was getting her period.I dnt believe it for a min.I told my mom the same thing when it happened to me.I am now working on not blaming game,but still am not happy about this.This doesnt help my health either!
Im tired of life,tired of being tired.I told my son I love him and support him but,no more pot ,he better bring his grades up and he has to take responsability for this child.Hes gonna have to get a job,etc.We are barely making ends meet here as it is!The only thing I could think is it could have been worse he could have got hurt or died,but Im stressed,his whole life is going to change over thinking with the wrong head!

In most circumstances this would have been a joy, but due to your son's age and the girl, it will take a lot out of your son and all those involved. Have the girls parents talked about giving up the baby for adoption? or is that not even an option. The one possible good thing is that the baby will most likely live with the girls parents and your son will have visitation rights. The last thing these two young children hopefully are not thinking is getting married, which I hope is not in their plans.I would at some point sit down with the girls parents and have a very long talk on how these two young parents to be are going to work this out with school, and hopefully they both will go to college since the importance of an education is even more crucial in these rough times we are in and in the years to come.
I think both teens will need parenting classes. I wish you luck and hope things get better for you and your family. Donna/NJ

Thanks for the advice.The girl doesnt want to do adoption.I had to call the mother to verify that its true.Still the parents havent called yet to set up meeting.I believe they are prob too angry.This is entire situation is making me worse.getting very depressed again!Because it feels like one thing after another.He has chosen the wrong crowd to hang out with in school.I also have given him to much freedom.I hated for him to see me sick so i just kept letting him go out.Im now thinking about boot camp!
