Close Bipolar Disorder
Diagnosed in 1996. It has been a long,confusing, and sometimes treacherous journey. Will it ever stop?!!
Treatments
- Depakote Working / Worked
- Seemed to work for me but the lethargy and weight gain were too much so I quit and continue to take Lexapro.
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- Have Been on Lexapro for about 5 years. Changed from a combo of Paxil,trazodone and Klonopin.
- Trazodone Somewhat Helpful
- Prescribed for sleep due to my moving to the city where noise bothered me. This stuff works. But literally made me comatose for 8 hrs.
- Paxil Working / Worked
- Worked for a while when I was younger combined with good ole Depakote. Dosage had to be adjusted back to 15mg as 20 mg made me feel lke I had a urinary infection.
- Clonazepam Working / Worked
- works okay. Weened myself off of it. Took it on average of three times daily. Built up a tolerance and felt it might as well be placebo
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- I felt terrible. I wanted to both vomit and fall over.
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- Just started
