Today i have to call the ENT for silas's one year check up. When he was 18 months he has mastoiditis....fluid in both mastoids, and how it got there is beyond me the neurologist said maybe it was trapped in there while he was in my tummy, becasue he was such a quiet baby....NEVER cried always smiling....like ha had no idea what was going on....everyone always said you would never know he was there......he never once had a ear infection, and from what i read and was told, the fluid builds up there due to frequent ear infections....? anyway after putting him on 2 months worth of antibiotics the fluid was still there, and his hearing test was flat on both ears cause his eardrum was not vibrating due to the fluid....so they put tubes in, and the ENT said a large amount of fluid came out of both ears.......one tube fell out anout 3 months ago.....i am hoping the fluid stays gone......and that his visit will go smoothly
