June 12, 2009 (birthday #3 on DS)

I wrote this "letter" to my future sister-in-law....and upon reading it again, I decided this needed to be posted in my journal. To everyone who thinks that, "I'll never find someone, because I'm (FILL IN THE BLANK) (i.e. too old, have MS, too plain....yada yada yada) Know this, I DID find someone wonderful after years and years of kissing (and having babies with) frogs....when I finally stopped searching, my PRINCE found me....then we found each other...this is NOT a happy ending.  This is a happy BEGINING...(and they lived happily ever after!) ;o)

(Just reflecting back over the past year as birthdays remind you to do, as we all should!  This is where it all started on DS.  I remember my last birthday...every birthday since 30 in fact, June 12th would come and I would VOW, "this is the last single birthday....NEXT year I'm gonna have someone special!" Who knew all it would take is 15 years and a little thing called Multiple Sclerosis! :o) I am very grateful to have you in my life this year and forever more! Is this where I start singing the theme from the Golden Girls...."Thank you for being a friend"...)
