and I came to DS for support. My family is in denial. Long story, short: wish I was closer to my DD and Grandbaby, in CO. Nothing for me here other than working hard to protect us from the families meaness. It is just my Mom, my sis and I. Sis has already cleaned out Mom. I took it to an attorney. VERY STRESSFULL!!!

I have not had much computer time, my daughter has been having seizures.
She will probably have to be hospitalized for observation and testing next …

Thank you for your adddition to my discussion. I will talk with my daughter about having her father and his wife to write up an agreement listing how they will handle her concerns, and sign in front of a Notary. I agree, it is a great lesson for her to how learn to protect herself!

Close Back Pain
Severe lower back pain, stenosis and Schmorls Node L 3,4,5. Cervical stenosis C 5,6,7, T 1...canal 5cm. Need surgery but have systemic lupus and surgery too risky/bleeding disorder. Researching solutions other than surgery and or pain meds. Mom to teen with developmental delays is a gift. Spiritual, prayerful, and grateful for my blessings!
Treatments
- Epidural Injection Not Working
- Novacaine worked until it wore off. No benefit otherwise.
- Fentanyl Working / Worked
- Patches for 2 yrs., along with breakthrough pain med., muscle relaxers.
- Hydrocodone Not Working
- Did not work with patch.
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- Moving/exercise helps!
- Traction Working / Worked
- Helps reduce tingling in right arm.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
Open Fibromyalgia
I am 55, a retired nurse and have been on total disability since 1996 for FM and lupus. I have developed severe degenerative disk disease in the past 4 yrs, 7 hern. disks and cannot have surgery. Between the FM, lupus, and spine I have a hard time with the pain, both physical and emotional.

- helps, I belong to a community program and do my own thing. Not in a water class-too difficult.
- Duragesic Patch Working / Worked
- began 3 yrs. ago and really helps the pain in my back.

single mom to teen with autism. my divorce did not include any alimony, although my ex could well afford to assist us. he re-married, and she is very controlling, ex is passive-aggressive. he does not help financially, although we were married for 8 yrs., and I was dx with systemic lupus during that time. he took a fictious loan from his mother after I left him, making it look as if he could not afford alimony. I am struggling financially...
