Recently got my sputem and nose cultures back. Both were negative for MRSA. My Dr. was very diligent in treating this and it paid off. All of the meds he prescribed along with the vigilent sanitation really worked. Ask your Dr. about the meds I listed!
Treatments
- Levaquin Working / Worked
- I caught the bug before it was real bad! I guess you could say in the early stages!
- Bactroban Working / Worked
- This is applied to the nasal cavaties with a q-tip. I apply it very genoursly 3x's a day. This ointment is proven to kill MRSA in the nose and in the skin!
- Washing Working / Worked
- As an EMT/Ambulance Driver I thought I was pretty cautious then, but now I'm paranoid about my own cleanliness!
