Hey there, I am still around and battling my husband's addiction to his opiates. I feel at times that I have too much to write and it is too much to lay on some one. I can only imagine that you know far to well. I don't have time to worry abput my own addiction and you know how dangerous that is so I do hit a mieeting when I can. Hope you are doing well.

wow, I was 50 when I hit my bottem, in a hosital, had overdosed and wanted to die. as I layed there I said to my self you are worth more then this buddy and I surrender to the fact that I was and Alcoholic and a dirty dope addict and needed to change, I layed there and prayed to a power out side of my self and let go of all those old behaviors and attitudes that I had been hunging on to,and asked God for help, at the time I did know that it was god I was asking to help me and of course he did.

- 12 Step Program Working / Worked
- Honesty, open-mindedness and willing
- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- same as above
- Detox Working / Worked
- I went to maney de-toxs and they get you clean,but you have to work to stay that way.
- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- Go to meeetings, work the steps get a sponsor and reach out to others and all will be well, this I know for a fact, please take my word for it.
- 12 Step Program Working / Worked
- I tryed every thing else and nothing work, change locations, got another girl friend made a gang of money what was I to do, surrender to the fact that I was and Alcoholic and needed help.

LIVED ON THE STREETS FOR SOME TIME IN SHALTERS , WAS A DRUG ADDICT AND ALCOHOLICS FOR SOME 50 YEARS, HAVE 11 YEARS OF SOBBRITY NOW AND HELP OTHERS.
