So I had my "yearly" exam today (hip hip, hooray...) and got a chance to chat with my OB/GYN who helped us conceive our daughter and also delivered her. I told her that we're "not NOT trying". I just wanted to feel her out and see what she thought about #2. Basically, she said that we're more than welcome to try again on our own but with my cycles being short and light, and my history, that she doesn't expect much "luck". She told me that when we're ready to be "trying" again to just come on in and we can get started with medicines. She said she she would leave the choice of clomid vs injections up to me, but there's no reason to be 'trying' again for a long time before resuming treatment. I guess part of me wanted her to say "nope, you're fixed! This second one will come SO easy!" hahaha... But I guess the other part is happy that she's willing to just start treatment right away again when we're ready to get aggressive- knowing that she's in my corner and will back up my decision. Too bad I switched jobs and my insurance covers NONE of it this time. Sigh.
DH and I have talked and agreed to just try on our own till Christmas, then see her in the new year if we need to. We'll cross the treatment bridge when we come to it...
That's the news from my area! And, I want to say big congrats to Dulcy!! Her beautiful daughter was FINALLY born- sheesh I feel like I waited forever for her! ;)

I think a pregnancy would be the perfect Christmas present for you and your family! I'll be praying things happen on on their own this time, for the sake of your pocketbook! How's that toddler of yours?!
