Journal Entry for August 4, 2007
I have been ill for 20 years and diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, ortostatic intolerance, "weak adrenals" among other things. …
I am a registered dietitian, but due to my health only work a few hours per week. Have had to give up all sports, activities. Even taking a shower is exhausting. Diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, weak adrenals, autoimmune thyroid for 20 years. Even though I take a tiny dose of Cortef and Florinef am I getter sicker by the year. My symptoms now look more like Addisons disease than in the past - significant weight loss, hyperpigmentation, etc. Can't find a good doctor.

Hope you are having an ok day. Wishing you love, peace and healing. Jen.
I was diagnosed with CFS 4 weeks ago. I am also experiencing extreme nervous system disruption. I am newer to this site, but it sounds like many of our symptoms are similar. I am here if you need support or just someone to talk. I will also be praying for you.
I am here if you need a friend. I have EBV and COPD. I will keep you in my prayers. God bless you, Faith
This illness can be so devastating. Hang in there and continue to look for a doctor. I'm going to try a naturopathic practitioner tomorrow and am hoping she can help me.
Your welcome
Am not sure if I have Addison's or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or both. No matter what I try, nothing seems to be very effective and I've continued to get worse for the past 20 years. Went from being very active to barely doing anything. Thought maybe I could learn more about Addison's from this community. TKB
I have been ill for 20 years and still looking for test/diagnosis. Symptoms: night time eating, always feeling hungry or have nausea, extreme weakness, anxiety, weight loss, low blood pressure, orthostatic intolerance, low cardiac output, insomnia, pain, brain "fog". Does anyone know where to get tested for glycogen storage diseases/mitochondrial problems? I live in Denver.
I have been diagnosed with CFS and have been ill for 20 years. I must have seen at least 50 physicians, alternative practitioners, etc. and tried countless medications. I get worse each year and am barely able to work 1 day/week with accomodations (have to lie down a lot, etc.). My symptom list continues to grow and I am totally frustrated with the medical community's ignorance and unwillingness to accept/treat this illness. I work in the medical field and am appalled by what I hear.
Hi, I've been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and ill for 20 years - getting a little worse each year. Latest info on CFS is showing that there is a strong possibility that it is a cellular oxidation/mitochondrial dysfunction causing the symptoms. People get CFS from any number of things, but the common factor is the end pathway of mitchodrial malfunction. Hope this community can education me on possible similarities of both illnesses.
