Did I mention that I got diagnosed as diabetic before Christmas?  Crap on a cracker.  Yeah.  I went in to the doctor because my stomach was hurting and they did a urine test strip to see if I had a kidney infection (on an off chance) and came back finding glucose and ketones.  I did a fasting glucose test and came back somewhere in the 280 mg/dL range, which is pretty uncool, I hear; and makes me pretty officially laden with teh diabeetus.  Medication and glucose monitoring started immediately...  We'll see how it goes.
