bear, I'm glad you're feeling a little better about your experiences with doctors. I don't think any neuro would give you a dx of MS with one lesion. With two lesions, your new neuro cautiously advised a wait and see approach that sounds right. I don't know what your clinical symptoms are but your MRI suggests your disease may progress to MS (right now it sounds more like a clinically isolated episode). Natural history studies (done before the CRAB drugs were available) show that 10% to 20% of MS patients never get beyond mild or benign MS. The pharmaceutical companies have made a strong case for beginning treatment as early as possible (meaning >10% of MS patients who seem to have a mild form of the disease may have done just as well without one of the CRAB drugs. Have regular periodic exams with your neuro and always report new symptoms (or at least symptoms that affect your day-to-day functioning). Fatigue may be attributable to the lyme disease. I'm glad the new drug is helping. Best of health. Joshie

    Helo Bear,
So glad to hear that you are coping really welll n the Inderal - but please don't do any of this running around - well, not just yet awhile. Life's a big improvement without migraines ((I'm now on Sandomigran - so far no sides!)
I've alway felt that you never had MS - not that I can see you - but it is the way you can keep things together despite migaiines, & other physical things: you never lost you sense of sequencing, & a dozen other things I know only too well. Really pleased that you can return to work on a work - space -work order. Stay well, JaneD.
