Stage: IIA (T2 N0)Under 40 BC patient - diagnosed March 07. Double mastectomy even though cancer only on one side. Wanted to be aggressive. Axillary lymph node dissection - 1 node affected. Reconstruction done at same time as mastectomy - very pleased. Chemo 8 sessions - still going through it.
Treatments
- Adriamycin Too Soon to Tell
- Side effects were minimal compared to what I know can occur - queasy, very tired, lost hair etc.
- Chemotherapy Too Soon to Tell
- Mastectomy Working / Worked
- Double mastectomy - good experience. Glad I don't have to worry about re-occurrence on the other side.
