  hi My pain Dr. just gave me a very low dosage of Elivil 10 to sleep I have gained weight but will let you know if have trouble losing it since just started this with Celexaz

  My doctor exxplained that by taking amatrptaline whilst using opiate medications, (somethimg to do with nerve receptors), it increases the potency . I certainly felt it made a difference in the beggining, I stopped for a while, then resumed amatriptaline and noticed that it did in fact have this effect. I quess its hard to believe what any Doctor says about medications, It's like Here's Prozac, Depression will never ail you, So dont rely on my information, ask your prescribing Doctor.
