I work at a University as an Accounts Payable supervisor. I suffer from anxiety, panic attacks and depression. I have had feelings of hopelessness, sad, and just existing for years. Nothing makes me happy. I just try to make it day to day. I am currently on Paxil and my dr just prescribed Lamictal, I am praying that this will work for me.

you are such a good person looking out for your daughter. My Mom lives with me and we both pay the price when my husband uses. Your post sounds like she is really using a ton of meth. Take care of her ASAP, take her to a Detox center and have her enrolled, I think it take to people. The bottom lineis she needs to want to get clean. Meth is an aweful drug. I hate it. HUGS to you.

A huge hug to you- your very strong- my mom tried to help me and i stayed in such denial til 32 years old. Family traits may have a genetic value to all this i do not know, i just had to go through what i needed to go through to make it back to civilization, i have 4 years now, God willing, it is a tough battle for many of us and I am very touched by your story. Very... I put my mom through so much and it caused us to be apart alot of my growing up because the fear i had and still have in many ways- this dis ease is aweful. I read many of these stories for Hope, because there is alot of hope today and believe that. I will pray for you and your daughter, may she find the help she needs or the bottom she needs to go through for the solution. Stay strong. Take care--

Hi Becky, I read your post about your daugther and her meth problem. My family is dealing with someone in total denial, has all the signs of meth, tested positive, in/out of rehab, etc.. so I know all of what you are going thru. You can read my posts on her if it helps you in anyway. Just wanted to give you a hug and let you know that you are in my prayers. If you ever need to talk, feel free! ((hugs))

- Zyprexa Somewhat Helpful
- It worked great; but my liver enzymes went up 4 times the normal and so did my cholesterol and triglycerides. Severe weight gain in a short amount of time.
- Biaxin Not Working
- Day 2 at 12.5 mgs. so far so good. Day 4 5 and 6 I had episodes of mania, I was so wired I coudn't stand it. Day 6 I was so tired that I crashed. I'm calling my doctor.
- Paxil Working / Worked
- works great for anxiety and panic attacks, although it takes a few weeks and is hard to get in your system-just have to tough it out, Xanax helped me a lot.
- Xanax Working / Worked
- Has been a life saver for me over the years when anxiety was high or I was having a panic attack.

- I'm on day 2 at 12.5 mgs. along with Paxil 10 mgs-so far so good. Iam praying. I am taking this to stablize my mood and for depression.
Open Meth Addiction & Recovery
I feel that my daughter may be using meth; she completely denies this, but there are so many symptoms that she has associated with someone using meth. In the last two months she has had two episodes of thinking that bugs were coming out of her skin and also her childrens (the last episode). She truly believes that she sees this. She has also developed some open sores on her face, she has dropped weight dramatically the last couple months. I don' know how to help her.
