Journal Entry for March 22, 2007 Mood
Thursday, March 22, 2007
Day 4- Last night I did get a couple of hours with no pain....Very hot bath, loritab, heating pad and sleep. I woke up this am (after 12 hours of sleep) feeling ok. That however did not last long. The pain was tolerable for most of the day allowing me to get some studying done. My dr. office called me in more loritabs today and said that if they do not help I need to be seen. My mom wants me to make a dr. apt. to see about being put on depo provera. She thinks that it will help with pain so I can finish this semester of nursing school and get to the summer to have another lap. I have been on the lupron shot and HATED it and I honestly know nothing about the provera shot...My mom also got me thinking about having another lap. She said that they are trying to perserve my child bearing years and having another surgery could be bad. She said that evertime you have surgery more and more scar tissue is left which could eventually prevent conception. A lot to have to worry about.

Its hot bath time....Hope all is well with everyone else out there.

I hope you feel much better right know and that can talk with your doctor or find some way to realize the pain. I think you should try depo provera it halp a little and doesn't have to many side effects. Have a good night. Bye

hi!! I'm sorry to hear of the consistant problems. I, personally refused Depo and Lupron. I know Lupron sends signals to the Pituatry Gland to pu you in Menopause. I would be concerned about the long term effects. However, I know what it's like to be in college and with female problems...very hard!! So, hang in there, rest, heating pad, hot baths, less activity the better. Being in pain consistantly uses up so much energy!!! A constant battle!! Hang in there, ...oh...a Lap. is the least invasive way to go in! If you and your husband are considering children, talk to your Gyn. and an excellent one at that!!

hey. I hope u start feeling better. U sound like u need lots of support and love right now. Its good that u have ur mom with u though. The depo shot I've had lots of times. Its a shot that pervents you from getting pregnant and it also stops ur period. Depending on the person u can gain, lose or have the same weight. I hope u get ur appointment soon to figure out things to help u
