It was another great morning at the house but, the transition to school stunk. The last couple of days have gone well and I was hoping it was a good sign =). I had such high hopes since today was Friday too. But, he just didn't want to go. It took the aid and the vice-principal to get him into the school. He wasn't going for any redirection this morning. I feel like the bonding with the aid is becoming stronger. However, she is only temporary until, his permanant aid is back from medical leave in a few weeks, which will again throw everything back into turmoil - yikes!
He's getting along well with his new NT friends. They have been coming to our house since the beginning of school. He made the big step last night and went over to one of their homes for an hour. He was definitely out of his comfort zone. However, he had fun and enjoyed himself! This one boy loves the video games as much as he does. =) I'm happy to see him enjoying himself with others. It sure has helped to have a large family with lots of cousins around. But, it's nice to see him making friends with neighbors that have moved in. =)
