Hi my name is Tish and I am a 36 year old married to my high school sweetheart and have two beautiful little girls. I …
I am very pleased with Daisy if a bit stressed! Jenny the greyhound lady had such a set of rules and regulations and must dos and must donts that for a while I have felt a nervous wreck with the poor dog. She is exceptionally shy and still is - though she has surprised herself a couple of times by getting up from her bed (a duvet) and wagging her tail at me!! Her normal stance at the moment is ears back, eyes rolling and tail so down under her legs it touches her tummy..lol
I friend Jenny came for lunch and made me feel more relaxed about some of the other Jenny's rules and regulations and Tenant J has also been the voice of reason, saying she is only a dog. But greyhound Jenny seemed to be treating her like a very special breed!!! ... however, late evening now, both Daisy and I are more relaxed with each other. She absolutely loves the garden. Jenny said I must go out in the garden with her on the lead but I have relaxed that rule and let her out. She adores the garden - probably because she has never yet run free in greenery, certainly not lately anyway, a kennel dog with a yard, not a green garden. Runs around with head held high in great dellight. So she has made her favourite place by the patio door at the far end of the room.
I need to introduce her to the car tomorrow! which will be anothet test - but we will get through....she has had one accident, but - well, time to train and for her to settle yet....
However, I feel absolutely exhausted for some reason....but I'm sure we will both get into a routine soon...:)
HUGGS and love to all of you.....Cathrynn/Crazycat/CrazyDaisy XXX

had a real problem getting to sleep as had a really bad shoulder and no painkillers! So I was the one that kept Daisy awake after I went to bed!!! Then she woke me at 6 AM!!!! scratching!!! - but I let her out and went back to sleep - hope she gets into my ways of sleeping eventually - though I dont usually have so much pain with my shoulder (not due to Daisy I add!!).....XXX she now looks delighted to see me...:)

Sounds like Daisy is getting used to you already. She really does sound like a sweet dog. I am sure she will get used to your schedule, but it may take a while. I hope your shoulder feels better, and that you enjoy your weekend. ((((Hugs))))

Sounds like she's taken to you already. =] I absolutly adore greyhounds. I got mine about a year and a half ago...and he is my baby! I hope your shoulder is doing better. Thanks for the comment by the way. I have a list of side affects that have been reported, but so far the headache and dry mouth are all I have (and it's pretty mild.) BUT, I slept like a baby last night. =]

The more you can relax the easier it will be for Daisy to relax, animals are very tuned into us humans and our emotions.
I'm sure it was such a treat being in your garden and all the wonderful smells. Dogs have such sensitive noses and can "read" so much information on the wind.
