About Me
I am a 67 year old woman, my husband died four years ago now, & very recently my mother I miss them both so much every day but I am accepting this & realise how lucky I was to have the years I spent with them. My favourite song is 'Everything I do, I do it for you' by Brian Adams..& Say Goodnight Not Goodbye by Beth Chapman... I have two amazing sons two amazing daughters in law and five equally amazing grandchildren, also even MORE amazing elves that live at the bottom of my garden & are great friends with my also amazing & beautiful greyhound Bess...I work freelance and hope I can keep this up as I love the work I do.....live one day at a time and treasure the friends I have on Daily Strength...*big smile*.....

my mind has gone blank....everything really...I love 'creative coincidences' - if time is allowed, then amazing things happen....

Are you sure? Bess looks very cuddly. lol. She is so adorable, and those eyes are really something. I see you are really getting into the picture thing; they are great. I love the bench; have one on our front porch too. You know, you may be having trouble uploading pics because they are too large. Is there a way for you to make them smaller and try it? I have heard others say that theirs were too big. Anyway, at least you can put them up top for us to see. Hope all is well with you, and that you have a wonderful day. luvubunches! dongy

I have just lost my beloved mother, who supported me so much after the death of my husband four years ago....this grief for both of them seems insupportable at the moment....

- I have learned to cry rather than bottle it up....it helps so much..

- a brilliant one to one experience with a counsellor who came to my house, this also helped me deal with the death of my third son at birth years ago. I hope I wont need this after the death of my mother...

- this helps, if I can keep it up....I can often just go to bed...

- just involves my mind, makes me feel sad but does me good

Close Dementia
my father had dementia/alzheimers for ten long years, now a good friend, my daughter in laws mother has been diagnosed, she lives with them. Here to learn...and hopefully support

have been informally diagnosed with ADD...made massive sense of all my life! want not to become a totally vague old woman...!!!!

I have arthritis in most of my joins, mainly due to injuries and falls over the years and a recent very bad fall. WHY am I so clumsy! must not fall anymore...*sigh*

have had borderline diabetes for a couple of years...have not been keeping up with tests...but will now...

- my son found this very good, though tired afterwards, much better now but having seen the tiredness suffered on this community I wonder how much he keeps from me, he still gets very tired, but has a busy job and family life anyway....
Open Back Pain
have had upper back for a while but after a bad fall, have had dreadful pain in my lower back which I am endeavouring to cope with

- works for me, but it upsets my insides, so very very rarely do I take it

- I do stretching exercises, which do help..when I remember..*sigh*

- well takes the pain away for a while which is restful....want to learn more though

I lost my husband five years ago now....am doing well, but the recent death of my mother has brought things to the fore again

- excellent - a grief counsellor came to see me from a charity, Cruse, for 15 months & helped me put the death of my third son (stillbirth) into context as well as the loss of my husband...it has helped me cope,
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- brilliant, helps with the anxiety and panic as well as depression dont know, still, what I would do without it....
