25 year old with Hydro, had my shunt removed! at 10yrs old bin having crappy symptoms lately :-( I've failed the 1st year of my degree and teachers r jus being negative cos i have hydro and want me to do sumthing else so have been feeling very alone and empty I since decided to continue my studying at another uni and i've survived the 1st year, the teachers there have been so supportive, i'm just hoping that my neurologist can sort my head out otherwise i don't think i'll make it thru the next year. am also struggling with a sports injury, I broke my 5th metacarpal in my hand in a Ju-Jitsu competition back in Nov 07 and am awaiting surgery to fix it.

I am so thankful you did not take you own life. Have you ever thought the reason you did not sucessed is because there is someone out there you suppose to help. Maybe there not even in youir life right now. Just keep taking one breath at a time and before that person will appear ( if they are not already there.) What I do when I struggle with life and I learned the last time I thought I wanted to died. List all the people in you world right now and think about how not having you there might make them worse. For example for me it was my nieces. We are really close and I think about if I was there to help guide them where and how their life might end.

Close Hydrocephalus
I've only just discovered i had meningocele at 1month old and had hydrocephalus at 3months old and had a shunt put it that was removed at 10yrs old been having problems lately but am seeing a neurologist about my problems but its a slow process

Open Sports Injuries
I broke my 5th Metacarpal during a Jitsu competition on 24th November 2007 was in a cast for 8weeks am still in alot of pain, 4months along the line and movement of my 4th & 5th Finger is limited :( 9 months down the line and many x-rays & a bone scan later its bin decided i need an operation 2 have a metal plate inserted in my hand :( am currently on the waiting list 4 surgery
