Hello Angels!
Not really much happening to update on....
Steve and I will be celebrating our 1 year Anniversary in Charleston Memorial Day weekend!! Boy! Can you believe it has been a whole year??!! We will be "honey-mooning" Thursday and Friday on the beach, and then Sat and Sun, staying with Mike and Laura to record some more music! I hope I am good a rid of this cold/strep, whatever it is by then!
It is an Amazing journey, to say the least!
AND..Steve and I made a pact....This is my last week of smoking!! If I can do this, then we will be trying to get pregnant at the end of the year! Starting with a 5 day cruise Thanksgiving week!!!
I have started taking Welbutrin this week in order to quit...Chantix was really working, but insurance didn't cover it, and we really couldn't afford in every month...
So, I have been taking a mult-vitamin everyday, along with extra folic acid!
Any Momma's out there with any advice in getting my body in tip-top baby-making shape, please share..Of course, along with/besides eating healthfully and getting on the dreaded exercise program!!
I hope this entry finds you all keepin on!!
LOVE YOU!!

Oh..PS...Ayla is doing Great! She is now 6 months old, and in her adolescence!! She is really trying to push her boundaries, especially being half boxer!! But, she learns really quickly, and is as sweet as she is coy! HOW FUN!!
While we are in Charleston, she will be staying at our friends..(Joey is a vet, and her husband Will is a nurse, and they have their own practice) They board animals there as well..We will be bringing her in this week, or next, for her to get acclamated there, and feel comfy, and cozy for her lil vacay!
! Please DO NOT ask why we didn't bring Ayla to them right from the start! We do INDEED know better now, and she will never be brought to BANFIELD again! Rat Bastards!!

Love always. xxx

Hey, you sound great! I can't believe it's been a year! That's crazy - so much has happened - new house, new dog, now thoughts of a new baby! I'm so happy for you! My advice isn't about staying healthy in that department, it's about enjoying your free time. :-) Watch your tv programs and movies, listen to your own music, take as many weekend vacations that you can, etc...... because life definately changes! :-) Take care of you!

Happy anniversary!! Wow it's been a year?? Getting ready for a baby... I liked low impact stuff like bike riding and hiking outside. No smoking (obviously, and I know you can do it) and limited alcohol. Yay for you. xo

Happy First Anniversary!!!!! It sounds as if you two know how to celebrate. Good for you!
Getting pregnant is a powerful motivation for quitting smoking. My daughter just did it so you can too. It is so difficult to quit smoking but when you are doing it for someone else whom you love, it really helps.
Telly Savales (sp?), the actor, used lollipops instead of cigarettes and it worked for him. My dad used Vick's cough drops which he hated. I think the negative consequences of wanting a smoke and getting a cough drop instead cured him.
Good luck to you and have fun on your second honeymoon this weekend! Luv to both of you.
