Plans for decorating:
Kitchen:
All accents, like curtains, rugs, clock, plant pots, tea kettle, place mats, table cloth, napkins, etc. will be bright yellow against stark white, with a touch of black.
Living room:
Furnture and cutains will be shabby chic. Lots of floral designs and pictures. Ni limits on colors. I'm going to hang multi colored patio lights on the ceiling. I know it sounds gaudy, but it's part me. My bird cage with all the beads and birds.will be a focal point also.
Spare bedroom:
I inherited furniture and bedding from my sister, A metal, antique bed, cream colored. The bedspread is floral with pinks and soft greens. It will be a reminder of her always. I'm going to set up up a place to my beading in that room.
Master Bedroom:
Rusts and browns. Antique dressers, which need to be refinished.
Now, I have an extra bed with Native American motif stuff. I don't have the bedroom to put it in. I guess I'll set it up in the basement.
I guess my new home will really be eclectic, just like me. Can't commit to any one theme.
I am thankful for a roof over my head.
I am thankful for the opportunity to decorate.
I am thankful for a big yard to landscape.

Sounds like you stay awake planning things like I do. Then I wonder why I didn't sleep and why I am so tired in the morning!! Hey all that planning takes it's toll :) I am so glad though that you are excited and planning. You sound sooooo much better. Enjoy it all...and enjoy your new "digs". Hugs
