when symptoms comes up and you're not sure yet, get a second opinion physician and from there, think positive that it will not, like many of your friends, and from time to time you may think about it, as in, don't ignore it, and from time to time, think its far away, coz sometimes, when you think it is, it goes to your fear. hugging you like a true friend.

Close Prostatitis
I was diagnosed with prostatitis about 4 years ago. Took Cipro for 2 weeks, cleared it right up. 6 months later, had another flare-up. Took Levaquin this time, doc also put me on FloMax. I thought FloMax was a God-send(for a while). Since then, I guess I've been dealing with chronic prostatitis. Hot baths help but you can't stay in a bath tub all day. Have switched from FloMax to Uroxotrol. FloMax made me so dizzy. It's just frustrating because it'll never completely go away.
Treatments
- Celebrex Not Working
- Ibuprofen works better for me and is cheaper
- Cipro Somewhat Helpful
- It helped at first. Would clear things right up. Now, if I take it, not that much of a difference. Nice thing about Cipro is it helps you move your bowels regularly.
- Levaquin Somewhat Helpful
- Again, same as Cipro.
- Flax Working / Worked
- One doc I went to told me to try this. Said that it has been shown to reduce inflammation.
