About Me
I am a homemaker who suffers from Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Pulmonary Fibrosis and a few other things..I am married and have one son...he is 24 and has had ADHD since he was 8..he still lives with us because life's challenges really cause him problems and it has caused us to have to allow him more time with us, until he is ready to venture out into the world..yes, we are struggling with all of this! Hi - was just looking for posts on prevacid and saw yours. I noticed you said you had to take it because of the Fosamax. Why is that? Did the Fosamax give you heartburn?

Close Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia has invaded my life for over 10-12 years now. It has taken a big chunk of my life from me. Thank God for my husband sticking by me through it all! He is a jewel.
Treatments
- Cyclobenzaprine Somewhat Helpful
- I don't really notice too much of an improvement with this medication.
- Doxepin Working / Worked
- This has made me sleep very well. I reach that "stage 4" sleep that is needed by fibro people
- Fosamax Working / Worked
- I take this for osteoporosis. It does irritate your stomach, so I need Prevacid too
- MSM Somewhat Helpful
- Someone told me this stuff helps the fibro, so I am taking it. I take 500 mg twice a day.
- Prevacid Working / Worked
- To offset the Fosamax
Close Pulmonary Fibrosis
I have PF too. I developed it after having gone through radiation treatments for cancer. I only found out I had it when I ended up in the hospital for double pneumonia, that's when I got the news that I had this horrible thing.
Open Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I have this lovely disease along with fibromayalgia, osteoporosis, pulmonary fibrosis and God knows what else is going to happen to me! LOL! I have had the CFS around 12 years now and the fibro came on a few years later. Life really stinks sometimes ya know?

- Paxil Somewhat Helpful
- I stopped taking this when I realized it wasn;t really doing anything and I was gaining weight from it
