Hi, I went to see my Neuro today and for the first time in a long time I was seen on time, but I didn't get to see the Neuro that I'd hoped to see.
I told him about the full body tremours that I've had twice recently, he just sat there twiddling with his pen and saying nothing. I tried to draw him out by asking him if the warm weather could be a cause or seeing that I've had PD a long time now, is it something that I should learn to cope with from now on....again he twiddled with his pen and rolled his eyes and said Mmmm...
He asked me how I was coping with certain meds, to which I said with those particular ones everything is Ok. He's the type who is always looking to increase meds whether there is need to do so or not.
The Neuro I'd hoped to see would have given me more time and much more feedback, sometimes it's tmes like today it seems like I've wasted my time. So I've decided try to keep a hold of my inner strength and resolve.

Oh Bri I so hoped you would have some good news! INSIST on the neuro you like next time. Sometimes if you yell enough you will get what you want and need! You have a great outlook keep that gorgeous chin up my super hero! Love always and forever.

I hoped the news would be good for you. I prayed over that for a long time. I hate the doctors who won't talk to you at all. Keep your chin up and I will always be thinking about you and prayng for you.

Keep your strong resolve.. I'v run into a doctor or two who treat the patient like some kind of "symptom messenger" .. you are expected to deliver your symptom information and then leave.. Its wierd when the doctor patient/transaction no longer resembles the customer/service-provider transaction. Drag information out of these types like an interrogator. I've made more than one doctor uncomfortable when I take out the halogen lamps and the garden hose, but if you encounter occasionally the secretive doctor, shake the answers out of them. They Work For You, gov't health system or not.
