For those of you who are sick of cute pet or cute baby stories..... leave now! Or forever hold your tongue! Lol! Just kidding!
I swear my little dog Skippy has a sense of humor. Whenever I play with him and there's a toy involved he likes to hide it and make me look for it. If I can't find it all I have to do is look at him and sigh and he will give it away by staring intensely (where's spell check when I need it?) at it!
Today we were out in the back yard and I was throwing around this tennis ball that ended up in our yard and Skippy was chasing it everywhere. He suprised me by actually fitting the thing into his tiny little mouth and carrying it around! (He can fit his whole muzzle into the plastic lid of a small 12 oz. pop bottle)
Anyway, I was setting the sprinkler and threw the ball for him and went back to what I was doing. Just then I heard some low growling and saw the tennis ball sitting just next to the grape vine leaves on the grass, but Skippy was no where to be seen! I turned my head to take a quick look around the yard and didn't see him anywhere, but I heard the growling again. I realized it was coming from under the grape leaves! I couldn't see the little buggar because he is black, but there was Skippy hiding in the shadows under the grape vines and growling at me to throw his ball!
He's such a character! I love him! He makes me laugh every day!

Tiki will only go get the ball a couple times, then she runs off with it. LOL She's more interested in playing with one of her plush toys, she loves "chase." meaning she runs off with the toy and you case her. LOL Tug of war is a fave too.
Cute story, I wish we could post videos of our pets on here.

oh i so miss having a dog......i love my cats dearly but i would love to have another dog.....he sounds such a cutie !!!...loads of love and hugs Ellie xx

Oh I love Skippy........tell him that Anuty Jen wants to play and snuggle some time!! What a character, ah, so cute!!
Gracie won't play fetch, i'll throw a ball in the back yard and she'll run after it....but when she gets to it she stares and it and barks until I come get it and throw it again.....who's the master here??? Yep, Gracie!! LOL Thank God for our dogs and the joy they bring into our lives huh??

Oh yes, was also going to tell you another 'organization help' thingy that has really helped me. Google Email and Toolbar!!! The email stacks messages so that you can see what you wrote to someone when they write back (I forget what I just wrote.) and you can 'star' important stuff so you don't forget and you never have to delete anything because you can archive messages. The toolbar has a little mail icon so you can see if you have new messages online and it has spell check for web forms so you can check your journals or whatever. I love it and it really helps me a lot! And it's FREE! :)
