Close Fibromyalgia
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia over 10 years ago. I noticed it while riding my bicycle. I used to ride for miles and then gradually had to stop because my muscles hurt so bad and getting weaker instead of building up strength like they used to. At first I thought I was just out of shape but then found out it was fibro.
Treatments
- Acupuncture Not Working
- Tried it for as long as I could stand it hoping it would evetually work but it didn't seem to help and it was very painful.
- Cyclobenzaprine Working / Worked
- This worked for a long time, but my body used to it and I started getting the muscle cramps and spasms again so my Dr. put me on something else.
- Cymbalta Not Working
- Lyrica Not Working
- gave me a lot of side effects.
- Massage Working / Worked
- did for a while
- Vitamin B12 Working / Worked
- hard to tell yet.
- Vitamin D Working / Worked
Close Arthritis
Several different types of arthritis.

Open Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
I have Carpal Tunnel in both hands. Had surgery on the right hand and don't want it on the left hand after what i went through with the right one.
Treatments
- Carpal Tunnel Release Surgery Too Soon to Tell
- Still healing so I don't know the outcome yet. It's taking longer to heal since I can't take anti-inflamitories.
- Wrist Splint Somewhat Helpful
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- This helps a lot. I can tell that my hand/wrist is more painful if I miss a treatment.
Open Chronic Pain
I have Fibromyalgia, arthritis, and arthritis of the spine. I also have Von Willebrand Factor Syndrome (a disorder that causes bleeding) so I can't take most pain meds (lucky me!)lol
Open Families & Friends Affected By Suicide
My little brother committed suicide when he was just 22 and I was 25 years old. It's been many years now, but it's still hard to deal with and was very hard on my family. I miss him so much! I think all the time about how my life and his life would be if he were still around.
