About Me
I am 30 years old with a mild form of cerebral palsy with a learning disablity. I'm am battling with a kidney scarring disease that destroyed both of my kidneys and I have been on dialysis for four years. I have pulmonary edema. I take about 35-40 pills a day. I get tired easily and get nauseous easily. I can't produce any urine. I'm also on a kidney tranplant list. I live with my parents. I have a brother who is scizophrenic. I don't have hardly any friends and not much of a social life. I get depressed not having much normal life. Please don't send me any chain letters because they frustrate me making me feeling like I have to send them to people when I don't feel good most of the time.
Interests
I like listening Christian music, Light Rock, Easily Listening and Country. I guess it depends apon what mood I'm in to what I feel like listening to. I like pets. I have a black and white cat and her name is Mandy. I have a one year old beagle named Daisy. I like bird watching. I like computer games. I like the Sims2 game packs. I like Nancy Drew computer games. I like reading, writing and enjoy e-mail. I also like watching movies and listening to Christian music dvds. I enjoy making cards.

It sure does get old. I know what you mean. Yesterday I got a shot in my knee. Today is dialysis. Tomorrow I go to the chriopractor. Thursday is dialysis. Friday the chripracor. Saturday is dialysis. More of the same next week. My primary doctor wants to see me to for a followup from my hospital stay. When I can do that who knows? Try to get a bit of rest.

Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI am a 30 year old female with a kidney scarring disease that destroyed my kidneys. I'm on hemodialysis. I have polmonary edema. I have a learning disablity along with a mild form of cerbal palsy.
Treatments
- Ativan Somewhat Helpful
- It helps mellow me out before dialysis treatments. It also helps me sleep at night.
- Dilantin Working / Worked
- I have had some nasty seizures with my bp being so high. I had a bad grand mal seizure two years ago and almost died. I don't remember much from it.
- Lasix Not Working
- I was on this once and have to get off of it. I had another allergic reaction to another drug simlar to Lasix & it was called Bumex. It gave me anti-flatic shock.
- Morphine Not Working
- They gave me this when I was in the hospital at one time for pain. It made me hive & rash so much.
- Talking Working / Worked
- It always help to have others to talk to that are willing to be compassionate towards others that are willing to listen.
Close Dialysis
I am 30 years old with a kidney scaring disease. FSGS. I have been on dialysis for three and half years. I first started out on PD dialysis and was on that for about a year but, had to get off of it because I was getting to many infections. I had a perm cath stuck inbetween my neck and chest. I had put up with that constant knife stabing pain for 14 in half months. I even had one clot on me and had another one put in. The vein access in my arm was to narrow so I had more surgery done on my arm.

I am a 30 year old female and I was dinoised with a mild form of CP that effects the way I walk when I was 5 or 6 years old. I also have a learning disablity. I'm on hemodialysis do to a kidney scarring disease that destroyed both of my kidneys and polmonary edema. My health has been on the poor side and I have been in the hospital about ten times since August 20th of last summer. i have hardly any friends and not much of a social life.

Open High Blood Pressure
I have Cerebal Palsy with high blood pressure. I have ESRD do to my constant battles with FSGS and I'm on hemodialysis. I have had blood pressure as high as 280/130 with my condition. I was in ER when my blood pressure was that high.

- Atenolol Somewhat Helpful
- They gave me this in the hospital once. I think it lowered it a litte bit.
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- I try very hard to stay away from Take Out Food places like MCDonalds, etc. If it's going to make you sick than why eat it. Try Subway not as high in soduim.

I have a brother with disornized schizophenia. He is quite often very paraniod.

Open Chronic Pain
I been having Chronic Left eye pain since I was 14 years old. I have seen a headache spealist years ago. And he told me it was a pinched nerve in the back of my neck not holding my head upright because of Cerberal Palsy. No medication and excersizes have worked. I'm also on hemo dialysis and feel like I get chronic pain with battleing so much health problems.

- Didn't do swat for my chronic left eye pain.

My brother has schizophenia so we deal with alot of family issues. My dad doesn't seem to get any help for his stress, anger and frustration problems.

- There is nothing like a good song to lift your spirts.

- I have a one on one LCSW I see to vent.
- Talking Somewhat Helpful
- I am in a weekly coping group and talking in the group about frustrations or problems going on helps me vent.
- Writing Somewhat Helpful
- Sometimes it really does help to write down your feelings.
Open Sexual Abuse
I was molested as a child and I goten over it, since it was so long ago. Sometimes it's just hard to talk about.

- It really helps getting into a group that you feel comfortable in to vent.

I have conjestive heart failer with polmonary edema problems being on hemo dialysis.

- Forgiveness Somewhat Helpful
- It's hard to forgive a person when there physical hurting you but, if you don't try to forgive that person you might end up feeling worst with all the anger and hurt you feel from that person.

- Often it's just good to listen to a good song to uplift your spirts.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- It is good to have some one on one with a counselor to get out all your feelings of hurt and anger.
- Talking Working / Worked
- It's good to vent out your frustrations when someone is hurting you.
