Life is pretty much back to normal four months after tx....heck, even my hair is beginning to look normal. We have been working long hours to try to catch up in every way after tx plus dealing with a few of Ronald's other health issues.He's actually starting to feel good these days, at least until he fell and ripped all the tendons and muscles from his thumb. We're looking at surgery now.
....and now this...
We live in the area projected to take the direct hit from Gustav!! We have spent days getting our home as ready as we can and have evacuated in back2back traffic to central LA. We'll still be at risk for tornadoes, high wind, etc but not from the storm surge. The scary part is having 22 pine trees in our yard. We had to leave my van and the only place to park it was under our huge oak tree...
Remember when I said that HCV was not the worse thing that ever happened to me???? A ten year recovery from Hurricane Andrew was much worse...I'm kinda scared...we were just, just starting to get caught up on the house and yardwork we neglected during tx....After Andrew I can only imagine.... and hope for the best....

You are a Godsend. How would this tx have gone so well? Between God's grace and your friendship, I cannot say tx was horrible. Many more blessings than discomforts. I posted a beginning tx picture and will post the naked truth....see through hair! Will be out of touch until Monday so take care and behave yourselves!!!! Stay tuned for the semi bald me!!!!

I also suddenly started loosing hair like crazy but I figure small price to pay to kick dragon...hair will come back but want the damn dragon gone!!!
