Type: Adult Asthma

My husband has asthma. He's had it since he was a child. It doesn't ever seem to be getting better. I worry about him.

Treatments

Advair Too Soon to Tell

He just started using it daily. He's always had it but he needs to be reminded to take it everyday

Albuterol Somewhat Helpful

It causes him to cough a lot more and in turn that makes his asthma worse. He won't use it unless I really get on him about it.

Inhaler Working / Worked

They help when his asthma is just starting but it seems once he reaches a certain point... they no longer do him any good.

Singulair Somewhat Helpful

They definitely help but sometimes his allergies are too strong for the singular alone.

Open GERD & Heartburn

I have horrible acid reflux. I've had the surgery once to have the esophagus stretched back open to make it easier for me to swallow.

Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful

It works to avoid the things I know bother me but its not a fun way to live. :(

I cry a lot when I'm alone. It helps to release the feelings in that way but I get angry at myself for not being able to move on.

I've had carpal tunnel for about 6 years now and also arthritis for about 4 years, and tendinitis for about 12 years.

Carpal Tunnel Release Surgery Somewhat Helpful

It worked for a little while but it's right back where it started after only a 3 years.

It helps to keep the swelling down but doesn't make it go away.
