About Me
We've been TTC since December 2006. We were turned over to an RE in June of 2007. Since then, we've done 1 natural IUI, 1 medicated IUI w/injectables, 1 IVF, 1 FET and onto our second IVF mid Nov/December 2008. We just learned that I have a rare blood disorder where my blood is very thick and prohibits implantation so our doctors are now working with us to insure that i am receiving the proper medications to aid in this blood disorder and get me pregnant! Just lost my father (60) in March 08 and my mom was just diagnosed with Colon Cancer (57). One big nightmare! BFP on 12/23, thank you g-d!!

Aww, he had a cold? Thats no fun. DH is sick with a cold right now and we're nervous that Leo will catch it too. Trying to keep our distance. no daddy kisses for a couple days ): hope he's feeling better now. Glad you two are having a great time together!

I would love to take off work and come see ya. I think the end of the month is better for me as there is less work to do. Let's kinda play it by ear right now and when it gets closer, we can figure it out. Hope all is well.

Close Infertility
We completed our first IVF cycle September 07 We received a BFN!!! Had a D&C and hysteroscopy surgery on 10/30 to remove my uterian septum before moving on w/our FET cycle (ET 12/11/07). Received a BFN!!! Had another hysteroscopy in October of 08 to remove 3 polyps that had developed in my uterus, then onto IVF fresh cycle #2. 9 eggs retrieved, 5 mature, 4 fertilized and 3 transferred back on day 3. Beta test on 12/23. BFP!! We are overjoyed and thrilled!
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Not Working
- We went through a "natural" IUI this past month (January & Feb). It didn't work. We went through 2 rounds of IUI w/ injectables and they didn't work. We'll be heading back to IVF in the Fall of 08.
- Estrogen Patch Working / Worked
- Vivelle-Dot. Very emotional and bloating as side effects. Working so far...
- Follistim Working / Worked
- I've been put on both Bravelle and Menopur. Both have worked really well in stimming me. Minimal to no side effets.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Too Soon to Tell
- It seems to work and I have little to no side effects from this (thank goodness!)
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- Painful but it showed that my tubes were clear!
- Hysteroscopy Working / Worked
- Had this surgery along twice. Once to remove a uterian septum and another time to remove polyps. Relatively easy surgery w/a quick recovery!
- In Vitro Fertilization Not Working
- First IVF in September 07. Fet cycle in December 07, and second IVF cycle in Nov/Dec 08.
- Lupron Working / Worked
- Made me tired and mild headaches. It worked but I didn't like it.
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- Makes me emotional, nausea and bloated!
Close Bereavement
My father just passed on 3/25 from a very aggressive form of lung cancer (never smoked a day in his life!) He just turned 61 on March 7th. I can't believe he is gone and i miss him so much. I need to grieve, pick up the pieces and still continue to live life. Does it get any easier?

Open Pregnancy
After two years of ttc w/an RE and two surgeries later we received our first BFP on 12/23. We are thrilled and overjoyed! First ultrasound is 1/6.

After two years of TTC with an RE's help, two surgeries and 2 IVF cycles later, we received our very first BFP on 12/23! We are overjoyed but cautious.
