I was born at a very early age. I was born in Texas, because I wanted to be near my mother. Okay okay, lousy jokes. I've been a Christian for 25 years, married for 29 years, mom of two (daughter and son), both are married. Daughter has given me four adorable grandsons and is in the process of adopting a baby girl. YAY!

Here I am sending sunshine to you...like it isn't a killer, lol! Wow, I have loved the relaxation I get while lying in the sun....no more. Now I'll have to buy only winter makeup...so...upside. :>)

Thanks for the prayers. I'm not ready to let anyone else read the difficult journaling I've been doing. It's about something not related to my rape but these painful memories have resurfaced in therapy. Strange how therapy for a family crisis turned into therapy for rape and PTSD and now it's turning into therapy for all sorts of other stuff as well. I hadn't quite realized how connected these things were.
Anyway, I appreciate your prayers very much. Therapy is in a little over an hour.

Thanks for thinking of me. I thought I was feeling better on Saturday, but it came back with a vengeance Sunday afternoon. Now my middle daughter is staying home today with the same symptoms. Hope you and Hubby are staying well. Take care

I was raped by a stranger at 16 and again at 20 by an acquaintance. I've pretty much been silent all these years. I'm tired of the shame that the silence brings.
Treatments
- Prayer Working / Worked
- Prayer (talking) with God has made all the difference and I know He's continuing to work in my life.
- Talking Working / Worked
- I've recently started sharing about the things that happened and their effects on my life.
- Forgiveness Working / Worked
- Forgiving cut the ties that bound me to those that harmed me. It freed my heart to move forward.
